Nanoforming improves bioavailabiliy by increasing the specific surface area of drug particles. This process enables a higher dissolution rate whilst maintaining the stability of the crystalline form and avoiding the necessity for additional excipients. Nanoform scientists explored the crystallization of budesonide and piroxicam using our proprietary CESS® nanoparticle engineering technology and presented their results at the Gordon Research Conference: Crystal Engineering June 2022.
