I joined Nanoform in 2019, after working in academia for sixteen years as a molecular astrophysicist. I wanted to join this company because we perform fundamental research which directly supports technological development, with the ultimate goal of helping patients. I joined Nanoform in summer 2019. At the time, I was seeking new working adventures. I am a pharmacist from my background and I have been working only in big pharma industries. The small start-up company in remote Finland seemed so far away from my comfort zone that the only question to ask myself was, “Why not?” I was missing the feeling of the unknown typical of the early development phase and the excitement of doing something for the first time.
